At first, it was like 200 buttons – seriously?
I must admit I was a little bit anxious about it, 200 buttons to be done and delivered by that weekend. Since I just started offering button/badge-making just recently, it came as a surprise that someone would come to me so soon after just starting.
BTW: I would like to thank the Thunder Bay Chamber of Commerce for their After Business event where I premiered my button/badge-making talents and where this button order would not have happened if I had not attended.
After checking my inventory, I took the first big step and said yes. They already had the design and layout, all I had to do was print, cut, and press 200 of them. Thankfully, everything went without a hitch, with 200 buttons ready a day early!
Sharon McKinnon was very pleased to receive the buttons in time for their event and will likely call on me for their next ’emergency’ button order. Now that I know what it takes to do 200 buttons, as long as I have the inventory, bulk button orders are not a problem.
